COVID-19 Vaccination in the Workplace forum

We’re now just over the one year mark living in our “new normal” world. COVID-19 vaccines are being administered, giving many employers hope that business and the workplace can slowly return to how things used to be.  Is your place of operation considering requiring or encouraging workers to get the vaccine?  Can this legally happen? What’s allowed and what are the limits?  What are the HR and legal challenges?  Join us to learn the answers to these questions and what you may need to prepare for as an employer during this unprecedented and important time.

In this free, hour-long forum, we will look at Vermont’s vaccination progress to date, public health recommendations as they relate to quarantine and gathering for fully vaccinated people as well as  current Vermont guidance for business sectors, travel and gatherings.  From a legal standpoint, panelists will discuss workplace vaccination policy considerations, guidance if the vaccine will be mandated, requesting proof of COVID-19 vaccination, and best practices for communicating with employees about these policies.

As we continue our Stay Safe, Stay Strong, Stay Open! forum series, hear from our panel who will share their expertise in their respective fields as it relates to this topic.  Panelists include:

Dr. Patsy Kelso, State Epidemiologist for Infectious Disease – Vermont Department of Health (VDH)

Kristina Brines, PHR, SHRM-CP, Director –  Paul Frank + Collins PC

Alexandra Clauss, Attorney and Shareholder – Primmer Piper Eggleston & Cramer PC

Join us for an informative and important discussion as it
relates to the health of your business organization and its employees!

This forum series is made possible with funding from the Vermont Department of Labor.
