Cybersecurity Resiliency in Industrial Control Systems

The purpose of this course is to provide an understanding of cybersecurity resiliency and industrial control systems (ICS).  The course will review the Internet of Things (IoT), vulnerabilities to cyber-attacks within ICSs, methods of detecting and responding to cyber-attacks in the ICS as well as tips and tools to mitigate these attacks.

The national and economic security of the United States depends on the reliable functioning of critical infrastructure and community stability. This course provides participants from throughout the various levels of government, private industry, and community an understanding of cybersecurity resiliency in ICSs.

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be able to:

  1. Describe the Internet of Things (IoT) and Industrial Control Systems (ICS), and describe how they are integrated into critical infrastructure.
  2. Identify the threat landscape for Industrial Control Systems.
  3. Understand the process for mitigating cyber threats to Industrial Control Systems.
  4. Identify how to detect cyber attacks and vulnerabilities on Industrial Control Systems.
  5. Recognize how to respond to and recover from cyber attacks on Industrial Control Systems.

Who should attend this course?
Owners, operators, managers, and employees from all critical infrastructure sectors and subsectors, government and industry partners, community stakeholders, and any individual responsible for safety and security within their organization. 

The full day session includes course materials, pre-test, post-test, evaluation and certification upon successful completion of the course.
