VMEC Board Member Election and Changes

Randolph Center, VT – The Vermont Manufacturing Extension Center (VMEC) has announced the election of three new Advisory Board members – Dr. Philip A. Conroy, Jr., Ed.D., President, Vermont Technical College (Randolph Center), Eric Hounchell, Vice President and General Manager, Optics Business Unit, Revision Military Ltd. (Essex Junction) and Dick Keiling, President, Concepts NREC (White River Junction).

In addition, four current board members were re-elected to additional two-year terms, including: Jamie Stewart, Executive Director, Rutland Economic Development Corporation (REDC), (Rutland); Pat Wheeler, Vice President Strategic Initiatives, Kaman Aerospace Group, Inc. (Bennington) and Steve Wildermuth, Vice President, Semiconductor Manufacturing and Development, IBM (Burlington).  Mike Rainville, President of Maple Landmark, Inc. in Middlebury, was re-elected as Board Chairperson.

VMEC wishes to publicly thank the three outgoing Board members for their years of voluntary service to the Center and to improving manufacturing in Vermont, including: James LeClair, Senior Principal Manufacturing Engineer, General Dynamics ATP (Williston); Scott McCreary, President, Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Specialty Coffee Business Unit (Waterbury) and Allan Rodgers, Professor of Business, Vermont Technical College (Williston).
