VMEC Board Member Elections

Randolph Center, VT – The Vermont Manufacturing Extension Center (VMEC) has announced the results of its December 4, 2018 annual election of VMEC Advisory Board members.

Jeff Couture, Executive Director of the VT Technology Alliance (Burlington) and Ken McAvey, Senior Director of Central Engineering at GlobalFoundries (Essex Junction), were newly elected to the VMEC Advisory Board, each for a two-year term.  Their election filled two seats voluntarily vacated due to retirements by John Burton, President, Network Performance Inc. (South Burlington) and Steve Wildermuth, V.P. North America Post Fab Operations, GlobalFoundries (Essex Junction).

Five Advisory Board members with expiring terms were re-elected to additional two-year terms. They are: Ben Clark, CEO, Ann Clark Ltd. (Rutland); Bob Flint,  Executive Director, Springfield Regional Development Corporation (Springfield); Rob Green, Operations Director, Vermont Precision Tools (Swanton); Greg Maguire, Director of Acquisitions and Strategic Initiatives,  Liquid Measurement Systems, Inc. (Georgia) and Mike Rainville, President / Owner, Maple Landmark, Inc. (Middlebury).  Mike Rainville was also re-elected as Chairperson of the VMEC Advisory Board for an additional one-year term.
