VMEC Announces Hiring of Karl Swanke
Randolph Center, Vermont – The Vermont Manufacturing Extension Center (VMEC) is pleased to announce the addition of Karl Swanke to its statewide team as a VMEC Professional Manufacturing & Business Growth Advisor.
Karl is an experienced Lean Manufacturing Practitioner, Business Analyst, Product Engineer and Project Manager with more than 20 years working in manufacturing, supply chain, and development areas of organizations. He is also the holder of seven U.S. Patents and is experienced implementing Agile process techniques to accomplish change more quickly.
Karl earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics in 1980 from Boston College and a Masters Certificate in Project Management from The George Washington University in 2000. While attending Boston College, he played Division I football. He was drafted in the sixth round of the 1980 NFL Draft to play as an offensive lineman with the Green Bay Packers where he played for seven years. Karl enjoys drawing from his experiences and expertise in teamwork dynamics to help businesses and individuals achieve higher levels of success.
As a member of the VMEC Team, Karl will be working with Vermont manufacturers and other organizations to help them implement systems and solutions to innovate, plan, perform and grow. Karl works from a home office base in Essex Junction, VT and can be reached at [email protected] or (802) 363-3982.
