VMEC Board Member Elections

Randolph Center, VT – The Vermont Manufacturing Extension Center (VMEC) has announced the results of its December 10, 2024 annual election of VMEC Advisory Board members.

Newly elected to the VMEC Advisory Board for a two-year term is Rosemarie White, Senior Vice President Commercial Banking, Northfield Savings Bank (Waterbury). Having been employed since 2011 at the largest bank headquartered in Vermont, Rosemarie oversees a team of commercial bankers in Central Vermont while focusing on providing banking services to a large portfolio of business clients.  She prioritizes customer service and is passionate about supporting local businesses and growing jobs in Vermont.

Outside of her role at Northfield Savings Bank, Rosemarie stays active in her community volunteering with her local chamber and Rotary club as well as serving several terms on the Harwood Unified Union School Board.

Re-elected for additional two year terms to the board are Gina Akley, President, Trow & Holden (Barre); Kenneth McAvey, Fab 9 Vice President and General Manager, GlobalFoundries (Essex Junction); Melissa Bounty, Executive Director, Central Vermont Economic Development Corporation (Montpelier); Greg Maguire, General Counsel and Director of Business Strategy, Liquid Measurement Systems Inc. (Georgia) and Ben Clark, CEO, Ann Clark Ltd. (Rutland).

Leaving the board is Patricia Moulton, Central Vermont Flood Recovery Officer, Vermont Agency of Administration. VMEC wishes to thank Pat for her many years of dedicated service to the board and supporting manufacturing in Vermont in her many roles including Executive Director for Workforce, Vermont State Colleges System; President, Vermont Technical College and Secretary, Vermont Agency of Commerce & Community Development.

Mike Rainville, President, Maple Landmark Woodcraft (Middlebury) was re-elected as Chairperson of the VMEC Advisory Board for an additional one year term.
