As a trusted advisor, Carla engages throughout an organization with insight, experience, support and influence. She advocates for each individual to find the sparks, strengths and connections that contribute to success; she works with each team to define, refine and make visible what success looks like. Carla has built technical, business and organizational capability and fostered engagement in many industries and across functional boundaries throughout her career in engineering, change leadership and transformation coaching.

As a Latinx mother, community builder, engineer, choreographer, and IBMer and now VMECer, Carla brings her passion, systems thinking and analysis, creativity and drive for mission to each challenge.

Trained in Organizational and Operational Excellence, including Lean Leadership, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Strategy Deployment, Effective Coaching, Talent Pipeline Management, Carla also holds an engineering degree from Cornell University and completed graduate work at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). Using teachable frameworks, proven methods and tailored approaches, Carla sees each day as an opportunity to learn and move forward together.
