Following a thorough selection process, Dr. Walter Copan, Under Secretary of Commerce for Standards and Technology and Director of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), made Pat’s MEP Advisory Board member appointment, effective June 12, 2018.

According to VMEC Director & CEO Bob Zider, “We are thrilled that Pat will now be able to have direct impact at the national level, providing her knowledge and insights to help strengthen and grow the MEP National Network™ across America. Pat is bringing the 15-member MEP Board many years of hands-on experience addressing rural state economic development issues, along with innovative leadership and experience in education, workforce training, and talent development in manufacturing and beyond.
