Patrick started his 40 year working life as an apprentice electrician on the railways in Scotland. Since then, he has worked in a number of industries including education, transport, medical device and testing inspection and certification. He has lived in Egypt, Japan, Hong Kong, Australia, China and the United States.

Patrick has worked in executive regional, corporate and P&L roles in his career and has led large and small diverse teams. He has solid and deep experience of Leadership, Human Resources, Organizational Effectiveness, Operations, Learning and Development, Regional Management and leading a new business from start to scale. He also has served on a number of Boards and is still active in some.

He has a Scottish Technical Council Certificate in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and an honors degree in Psychology and Public Media from the University of Leeds UK. As part of his business educational activities, he graduated from Medtronic’s Asia Pacific Leadership Program at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology Kellogg Business School and UL’s Executive Leadership Program with Yale School of Management. Patrick also was a participant in the Yale CEO College Program. He enjoys watching soccer and rugby as well as traveling to interesting places with his family.
